Student Parking and Driving Rules
1. Students parking motorized vehicles on school property will be required to pay an annual nonrefundable fee of $80.00 for a permit. Parking tags are to be hung facing out on the rear view mirror If permit is not properly displayed students will be subject to ticketing. Motorbike permits should be placed on the front fender. Permits are available in the MAIN OFFICE. A $40.00 fee will be charged for any permit that needs to be replaced. No Exceptions. Daily permits are available in the Main Office for $1.00 per day.
2. All students’ motorized vehicles on school property must be parked on the NORTH SCHOOL PARKING LOT ONLY.
3. Students must leave motorized vehicles as soon as they are parked. There will be no eating of lunch. smoking. or loitering in motori7ed vehicles at any time.
4. Motorized vehicles must be kept locked at all times, when parked. Case High School nor the Racine Unified School District is responsible for thefts, vandalism or stolen vehicles. Students should have their own insurance.
5. The speed limit on school property must not exceed 10 miles per hour, and at all times must be slow enough so that the vehicle is under complete control of the driver.
6. Any misuse of the vehicle on school property or on adjoining road, such as spinning wheels, burning rubber, blowing horns, slamming brakes, gunning engines, roaring muffler, etc. will result in immediate suspension of the student’s driving privilege.
7. Racine Unified School District hires law enforcement officers to patrol our property. Motorized vehicles can be ticketed for parking violations, driving violations, no permit, etc. Therefore, being on school property does not set aside the legal aspects of motorized vehicle use.
9. If attendance becomes a problem, parking permits may be revoked. Students are expected to be ii all classes and on time.
