Family Access Being Piloted At Case

Case is currently piloting this program.  This program will allow parents and students to access grades and attendance online.

PTSA PRESENTATION TONIGHT

What Can a Technical School Do for Your Child?

Case High School PTSA is pleased to host Steve Wilkes, Director of Gateway Technical College (GTC), who will speak on the topic: What can a technical school do for your child? On Monday, February 8, 2010 at 6:30 p.m. in the Case High School Library------enter through the theatre doors. 
Mr. Wilkes, Director of Gateway Technical College, will address such topics as: options for students not on a four year college trek; learning a trade; the shortage of skilled craftsmen; hands-on-learning via co-op programs; perks and advantages of a two year degree;  GTC success rate in the community; college credit opportunities in high school; and associate degree programs leading to four year degrees.  There will be a question and answer period after the presentation.

  Parents, students, faculty, and the public are welcome to attend!

NEW TARDY POLICY  STARTS
@ CASE HIGH SCHOOL
We are pleased to share with you news that JI Case has implemented a new tardy policy effective Monday, February 1st, 2010.  As professionals working with your students each day, we understand and take seriously your expectation that all students be provided the opportunity to learn in a safe environment, free from distractions.  In addition, we too believe in the importance of instilling in young adults the need to be punctual.  The staff at Case High School is excited to partner with our families to raise expectations for every student!

Case's mission is "to provide a positive environment and instruction of the highest quality to ensure that all students have the opportunity to acquire the knowledge, skills, and attitudes they will need to become productive citizens of this society." Case believes that the school exists in a changing world and a dynamic society and must prepare students to live in such a world.

J. I. Case High School, built in 1966, is a comprehensive public high school for grades 9-12. It is Racine's newest high school and is located on 68 acres in southwest Racine, Wisconsin. Racine has a population of 85,000 and is located 65 miles north of Chicago and 30 miles south of Milwaukee on the shores of Lake Michigan. The city, plus its surrounding area of 90 square miles, has a multicultural population.

Case HS has a student population of approximately 2,100. Courses in the five traditional academic areas are offered. Most courses are identified as basic, regular, college prep, or International Baccalaureate. Students have the opportunity to participate in work study, fine arts, business, family and consumer living, and technical education programs. Exceptional education programs are available to    with special needs.
